Wine cellar dinner
Croatia is one of the most diverse wine regions on the planet. We have more than 150 indigenous grape sorts and Kaštela region near Split has 11. According to the old Church documents, family Kuzmanić started producing wines 300 years ago, especially ancient Dalmatian sorts Glavinuša, Babica, and Tribljan. Their cellar located on the slopes of mountain Kozjak is a 120 years old stone house offering fantastic views of the nearby islands. It was also used during a construction of the local railway as a gunpowder magazine. We will have time to try all their award-winning sorts, take a stroll to the nearby Biblical Garden and enjoy dinner with our producer and his family garnished with vegetables from their co-estate.
The tour starts at 2:30 h before sunset – all year round – from Split center. Kuzmanić winery is just 20 minutes ride from Split. You will try white sorts Tribjan and Pošip and reds Glavinuša and Babica with local delicacies, we will take you for a stroll to the Biblical Garden and finish the day by having dinner in our wine cellar on the mountain.
